... tour group and guide. Interesting to see the same sights with a different tour guide. Maria is her name and she seems more informative than our last guide... Lots of Aussies on this tour... Including Bernie who works for NAB in Tully Qld... Also went to a pharmacy and got Mark some drugs to help him get over this cold... Fingers crossed.. Took a lovely photo in Zurich of the snow capped mountains.. Can't wait until we get there !!!! ...

We were picked up by our favourite taxi driver Mihal who brought his pregnant wife along for the ride at our expense. It was a pleasant trip to the airport even though we went via the cape!! Check in was straight forward no issues, as we had done it on-line. Then onto customs for a minor hitch the departure cards were only completed on one side. The only thing Mary did for this vacation was to fill in these cards and could not do it ...

Tuesday 3rd - we headed off to the bus stop at 4:15 this morning and the bus was over 45mins late to arrive but it came! We got stopped at the Swiss boarder for a random drug test (must be targeting eurolines buses) and a passport check, the man looked at the front of ours and went "AUSTRALIAN, must be holidaying! Enjoy" and gave everyone else 20 questions about their visit to Switzerland. After a short walk to the hostel we dropped our bags in as we were too early at 10am to check ...

We were back there a couple of hours (of which I slept) before heading out and onto a tram to the volleyball stadium to watch Switzerland play Belgium in the 2013 women's European championships.
