... Austria with floods and snow causing transport chaos so we cannot complain. Today we tested out Mary's boots and walked the 4 km to Millstatt to access the wifi in a cafe where we had lovely goulash soup for lunch. Only problem was the smokers in the room but we had no choice. Today, Friday we caught the bus to Seeboden, the next village past Millstatt. We used the wifi at the Tourist bureau. Seems a lot warmer here, so no need for heating during
the night.


Electrity included in the price but slightly annoying
that more than 5 euros get added to the 18 euro camping card price, for visitor
tax (around 3 euros) and environmental tax. Welcome to Austria!

Every morning when I wake up, I can see Mount Goldeck from my bedroom window, the peak of the Gailtal Alps. Yesterday, September 8 was surprisingly a partly sunny day and I decided to use the cable car up to the summit.
