    ... things, was a cheese burger for Junior & a Wiener Schnitzel for myself.

    Right, enough of this. The day's awasting - time for brekkie & more road.After a bit of a thunderstorm last night it's another lovely day here. Hope youse enjoy what you're doing for the day as much as we're about to ;-)

    ... after that to catch a plane, so I was left all on my lonesome. They then closed the beer halls to those without reservations (the *******s!) so I was even left without the option of sitting at some random table and pretending I'd been there all along. With no one to talk to, I quickly got bored and went back to The Tent, but not before snagging one of those giant German pretzels. And so ended the great Oktoberfest ...

    ... supermarket. The bread is the first thing that appeals to us. Germans love bread and the selection of fine German breads reflects this. We select a small pack of sourdough, though do wonder how it will taste with raspberry jam... We tick off the list as we weave through the narrow isles.     ... time in Munich ended with a trip out to the Olympic Stadium used during the infamous 1972 games and where this year's FIFA Fan Fest is being held. We also went to shabbat dinner at the local Chabad house in Munich. It was Phil's idea, and a good, free dinner like we all enjoy at our local campus chabad houses. Our first kosher meal all trip. Munich had the best beer of the trip so far, but I still liked Berlin more. More to come. ...
