Last night was a bit of a disaster in that we couldn't get pics uploaded to PhotoBucket. The wifi here is run on a length of frayed string & is bl00dy useless. Sam did however manage to get my pics off the iPhone (I knew I brought him for a reason !) so hopefully I can upload them all soon.

Tuesday (which was actually yesterday for those of youse not paying attention) dawned dry, bright & about 15c. It was to ...

Grinning Spencer pulls out the Mastercard and hands it over. The border police are not happy. They are gagging to get out to Oktoberfest and haven't had a beer since lunchtime (it is 1pm). Spencer pleads with them in his best German, "please sir, vil you please let me in, I like Germany - ...

... to sleep in a hostel room without an Aussie to share it with. They have all been really fun to meet though. I knew I was in Munich that night as late into the morning I could hear the music from the beer hall across the street and the laughing all night long! :) Nothing like beer hall music to help you sleep! The following morning I embarked on the adventure of finding Newschwanstein (crazy King Ludwigs castle, although he only lived in it for something like 172 ...
