    ... things, was a cheese burger for Junior & a Wiener Schnitzel for myself.

    Right, enough of this. The day's awasting - time for brekkie & more road.After a bit of a thunderstorm last night it's another lovely day here. Hope youse enjoy what you're doing for the day as much as we're about to ;-)

    ... and little parks. It is with much sadness that I mention that I have less than two weeks to spend in Vienna before I go home. I also wish I didn't have as much homework as I do so that I could actually enjoy it a bit more fully. There's still a few things I really want to see and many more that I would if I had the time. I only hope my suitcases are big enough to hold all the chocolate I'll be bringing ...

    We're here! I should probably call it Oktoberfest, because that's the correct name and German people don't know what you're talking about it if you call it Beerfest. Arrived Friday night on a cheap flight from Standstead. I like Stanstead, it is nicer than Gatwick for some reason but not as big as Heathrow of course. Trudie went to town at the juice bar and also picked up some muffins. Blueberry and chocolate and double chocolate. Mmmm, I liked the double chocolate best. ...

    ... musicians failed to notice. When she left, the violinist did give her a little wink, and I was able once again to rejoin the concert. But, you know, overall, it was a pretty amazing quartet. I am still homeless for the weekend, barring any acts of kindness or God. I do want to stay for the opening weekend of Oktoberfest, as there is something of an atmosphere of anticipation here already. I have to admit, it does look a bit like Milwaukee's Summerfest, but we'll see. Off to Munich ...
