      ... how expensive Switzerland is and became extremely glad I am only spending 5 days here. It will be bread and jam for awhile here!! I walked back to the hostel and met one of my hostel roommates Stephon who is hiking through Europe for 6 months and is 2 months into it. This week, he climbed 3 mountains!       ... we could see a tall wall that resembled a fortress as well as the Spruer Bridge. We decided we would go to the Picasso museum after lunch so we pulled out our map to get oriented. It was the only attraction excluded from the map, and Google was no help, so we figured we'd ask our waitress. After a very long wait, our meals arrived.       ... city and greater Zürich area, including out towards their home village of Arni and the Alps way beyond. What a stunningly beautiful place, I guess NZ like, but very much more dramatic as a city/lake/ mountains scape. The decent hike up and down was great exercise after the train, and we had a delightful meal and evening of talking with our young friends, who took us back to our apartment (via the highway to Bern, I think, haha) and got us sorted for activities next day. ...
