Over one of the tributary streams they built a brand new covered bridge, the only one we've seen, and luckily we just reached it as a bit of a rain shower swept overhead. Lucky or what....
From here we decided to start looking for a bed & eventually found one at the Tegernsee. Dinner last night, for those of you with an interest ...

At first I was willing to fight my urge to eat the second dish, in fear that I would gain all kinds of weight and just get nasty and fat, but now I embrace the second plate...When in Italy, right?! Dinner is much smaller than Lunch. Usually we have salad, or some sort of cheese and fruit dish along with a plate of pasta. It's ...

... people will wait at the edge of an 8-foot wide side street with no cars for blocks for the walk sign to come on. When they do cross, there is a terrifying danger- bicycles. Everyone rides bikes in Munich, and they ride them fast, and the bikes are new and sleek and modern so they don't make much noise, and you get RUN DOWN!!! Well I almost did about nineteen times. They have installed bike lanes that, conveniently, run next to the sidewalks, and look an awful lot like sidewalks ...
