Over one of the tributary streams they built a brand new covered bridge, the only one we've seen, and luckily we just reached it as a bit of a rain shower swept overhead. Lucky or what....
From here we decided to start looking for a bed & eventually found one at the Tegernsee. Dinner last night, for those of you with an interest ...

... machine. Being a coffee snob it is always a thrill to find a coffee machine in you room (or for that matter anywhere). No time was wasted testing the machine for quality and I have to say the coffee was average but the pod coffee concept is sound and gaining popularity. With still enough hours left in the day, Phil and I head out for some groceries. We take orders from the three girls; chocolate, lollies and a treat too. Yeah, typical - we make our way round the corner to ...

... for at least 8 hours, in the beer gardens by 3 and stumble to a club after the games finish at about 11. I almost went to the Aus Brazil game with Kate, but the scalpers wanted 800 euro for a seat in the clouds, crazy. We ended up watching the game at a fan fest, with about 30,000 people it went off. Everyone was yellow, after the game we danced the Samba for about 2 ...
