... surprised by the hostel Kathryn randomly booked. More like a fancy hotel and we end up being the only 2 in our room with a private ensuite! Very good nights sleep. ... were no signs or anything with warnings about the turns and the speed limit was still set at a comfortable 100 km/h......

It was turn after turn after turn. It was fun but the lil Juke wasnt really up for the challenge. Luckily I had a professional driver (faj) and he did a great job!

... reached the base of it; no wonder it was never able to have been taken over by force! Also, once on top, it feels like you're in another small village. Apparently when the city would be attacked, the people would take refuge in the fort and live life normally, complete with running water. We were also able to take a tour explaining the history of the fort as well as seeing some incredible views of the city below ...

... we soaked up the sun and ate them. It was so nice not to wear a coat and to be able to sit on the grass, without it being wet. We went to a music performance in the residency. They played traditional instruments and songs. It was really good until the harpsichord broke so we didn't get to listen to the last piece. We met some more Australians and went out for dinner and then to an Irish pub with them, where we met even more Aussies! It was a fun ...

We began the day at 8 AM and enjoyed the included breakfast for an hour, or so. Then, made our way into the city.

Since we had seen about half of the city yesterday, we had everything lined up for today and new that we could easily see the remainder of the city. Then we could just enjoy the evening, check out some souvenir shops, and relax a little bit.
