Spectacular...right on the lake with a wonderful water side dining. The lunch was very good, service was good. Room is fantastic, the lake view and patio is wonderful. Clean and quiet.

... to see on our journey. When we were about a 1/2 hour out of Salzburg we were hit by a snow storm. I was not able to get photos on my IPAD but I was able to get some good pictures on the camera. When we arrived at Salzburg we had some pretty simple instructions on how to get to our accommodation. Apparently Austria has the purest water in Europe, followed by Switzerland. After the walk, we ate a schnitzel dinner in the hostel pub, before calling it a night. However I decided as I was getting ready for bed, to take some washing down to the hostel laundry on the chance I could find an empty machine ...

Fully 'mozarted out' we finished off the day by climbing the hill to the castle to try get a view from the old city, we love our hill walking! That evening we ate a picnic in the warm evening sunshine in a park over looking the river before heading back to pack in preperation for our long train trip to ...
