    Spectacular...right on the lake with a wonderful water side dining. The lunch was very good, service was good. Room is fantastic, the lake view and patio is wonderful. Clean and quiet.

    We left Salzburg this morning and headed toward the lakes of Austria. The countryside reminds us of Sound of Music and Heidi...the rolling green hills with the tall, jagged peaks of the Austrian Alps in the background. And the after another...that snow melt has to go somewhere!

    I've been waiting for this day since we booked the trip, the tour of eagles nest. We woke to a mostly sunny day with a few clouds, so that was a good start.
