Last on reception made our stay. She was so friendly and helpful, went out of her way to fix any problems we had. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels and free bottles of water. We were located in the hillside bungalows but only 2 minutes to beach and restaurants. Room was big, bright and nicely decorated.

Was great place to stay. We chose the bungalows over the road from the beach for 500 BHT per night. We got it slightly cheaper staying 6 nights. A beautiful white and orange dog seemed to live out the front of our bungalow and would visit the bars with us, wait with us, then return us home. We loved this seeing we were missing our own dog back home. Good food! Relaxing place to chill out. Good location and fantastic beach.

Our next stop for our final week was Ko Pha Ngan, where I'd been recommended a secluded beach away from the craziness of the Full Moon parties. The only way to get to the beach was via a little boat, and they insist on waiting until there are a few people to make the journey worthwhile. They also make you jump out of the boat into the knee deep …

... for 40 minutes and were soo tired! We all jumped on a massive tuk tuk with all our bags, so unsafe and people were hanging off the end!! Arrived at the dock where we was told we would need to wait another 3 hours! So everyone just slept of the benches, I woke up at sunrise so in my trance like state, I managed to get a few good piccys! We finally boarded the boat and Sam and I slept for the whole 3 hours!! Lots and lots of love, Ames ...

... on Koh Tao and I had so far enjoyed it a lot more than last time. However, being back there was making me miss Lisa and the boys we were with last time. Going back to the same places again made me ready to come home and also being back in Koh Tao made me want to do scuba diving. It is the best place to learn to dive (the cheapest in the world) and they qualify more people with PADI's in a year than any country does! How mad is that. So I asked mum for ...

We set a steady pace early on. I took the early lead over Simon but he soon showed it was going to be a marathon not a sprint. Charlotte and Con were first to fall after hitting double figures. Then it would be Em and Dan leaving the big boys to ...

All the diving instructors were very nice guys, but James in particular was very patient and encouraging with Lullah and helped her to dive to the maximum depth of the pool. Around the town of Sairee Beach there are cafés and restaurants advertising English breakfasts and roasts and sadly demonstrates the impact the tourist industry has had on this little island. More than that can be seen as ...
