Last on reception made our stay. She was so friendly and helpful, went out of her way to fix any problems we had. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels and free bottles of water. We were located in the hillside bungalows but only 2 minutes to beach and restaurants. Room was big, bright and nicely decorated.

Was great place to stay. We chose the bungalows over the road from the beach for 500 BHT per night. We got it slightly cheaper staying 6 nights. A beautiful white and orange dog seemed to live out the front of our bungalow and would visit the bars with us, wait with us, then return us home. We loved this seeing we were missing our own dog back home. Good food! Relaxing place to chill out. Good location and fantastic beach.

Our next stop for our final week was Ko Pha Ngan, where I'd been recommended a secluded beach away from the craziness of the Full Moon parties. The only way to get to the beach was via a little boat, and they insist on waiting until there are a few people to make the journey worthwhile. They also make you jump out of the boat into the knee deep …

... we all learnt a lot from the safety videos and I got 10/10 on each of the tests so despite being shattered I obviously listened to some of it. At around 5 we headed back to the hotel. Matty and I were starving, we'd not eaten since 11 ish and then we'd only had a slice of toast each, we literally dropped our stuff in the room and headed straight out again. We came across an all you can eat pizza buffet for 199 baht so £4 and thought we'd give it a go. We ordered out drinks ...

... before when I was little and the lady gave me apples'!! Spen and I, when we get chance, have enjoyed leisurely breakfasts together at 'Through the looking glass' cafe, owned by some parents at the school. I've had a few gossips and cups of tea there with some mums. I've spent some time alone. I thought I'd like this- kids at school and Spen at work. But turns out I get bored very quickly. I'm a very sociable person and I like seeing my friends. When Spen is at ...

... nearly drowning over 18 metres down in the sea hahaha. Ben carried on with the exercises and then once he was done, we walked back down to Fizz Bar for dinner again as we LOVE it there. I had my tandoori chicken skewers with raita and mango chutney again and Ben had a thai noodle dish. We obviously finished it off with the most delicious brownies we have ever tasted (almost better than mummy bishop's!!!!!). After dinner we took a stroll on the beach and headed to bed. Good night!! ...

... waiting 7 hours in a train station we couldn't wait to get on that train for some shut eye however it didn't quite go as planned. The train starts out as normal with two seats each side facing each other. Then a man with gloves on comes and makes the seats into a bed and pulls down another bed from the ceiling. You each have a curtain to shut yourself off from the rest of the train. 12 hours later and we were in the south of Thailand each having about 1/2 an hours sleep. Just ...
