Last on reception made our stay. She was so friendly and helpful, went out of her way to fix any problems we had. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels and free bottles of water. We were located in the hillside bungalows but only 2 minutes to beach and restaurants. Room was big, bright and nicely decorated.

Was great place to stay. We chose the bungalows over the road from the beach for 500 BHT per night. We got it slightly cheaper staying 6 nights. A beautiful white and orange dog seemed to live out the front of our bungalow and would visit the bars with us, wait with us, then return us home. We loved this seeing we were missing our own dog back home. Good food! Relaxing place to chill out. Good location and fantastic beach.

... t expensive anyway so it didn't matter to us. All sorted we were on our way to sharks bay, apparently a good spot on the island for snorkelling. Some dives shop said we may see sharks it depends on how many boats are there and whether the current is strong. We arrived there about 1pm and started snorkelling straight away, the bay was beautiful amazing beach and turquoise waters. Whilst swimming about we saw lots of fish but no sharks. On the way back into shore however we did see ...

... seem to master this one. You had to fill your mask with some water and then release the water whilst breathing out of the nose, while.under water. Well this was a no hope for me and have now discovered I have a fear of it. I don't like the fact of not being able to see and just the general feeling. I knew this was going to be an on going process and a skill I needed to work ******* to master. Colm did brilliant - again he is such a water baby! After practicing the skills, we dove ...

... for its diving; there are 74 dive companies on the island (which is small), nearly 30 dive sites around its shores and and 20% of yearly open water qualifications are given here. We headed round the island to "Tao Thong", a dive site which had a beach attached thus shallow water. Our first task was to prove we could swim so a quick twice around the boat and ten minute treading water before kitting up properly and swimming to shore on the surface with our regulators in our ...

... Japanese Garden which was a different bay and therefore contained very different fish. We saw lots of colourful 'Parrot Fish' and whilst snorkelling we could hear them nibbling on the rocks below. It was fascinating and something we could have watched for hours. Today we felt was one of the hottest days we had yet experienced and were very liberal with the sun cream keeping Daisy in the shade as much as possible. We arrived back on the main land and went for ...

... like. Feet on one wall and back and hands on the other we slid ourselves up the face until it became too wide and then we had to starfish it!
Once down that was it, we were done and I was shattered! Back to good time adventures office for a beer and some grub!

After lunch we headed back to the hostel to change out of our climbing gear and arrange our transport from koh Tao back to Bangkok on Friday.

    We then ...
