Last on reception made our stay. She was so friendly and helpful, went out of her way to fix any problems we had. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels and free bottles of water. We were located in the hillside bungalows but only 2 minutes to beach and restaurants. Room was big, bright and nicely decorated.

Was great place to stay. We chose the bungalows over the road from the beach for 500 BHT per night. We got it slightly cheaper staying 6 nights. A beautiful white and orange dog seemed to live out the front of our bungalow and would visit the bars with us, wait with us, then return us home. We loved this seeing we were missing our own dog back home. Good food! Relaxing place to chill out. Good location and fantastic beach.

On our last day the videographer was sick, a scuba diving is just not one of those things you can push though and do even when you're sick. Luckily, I had bough a cheap Asian Go Pro knock off and cause we had two instructors one could tape us while the other taught! Such luck! Now we got all the videos we wanted without having to pay. The only downside I discovered when I was uploading ...

Nathon is the capital of Samui with some good shopping and is also home to the Seatran ferry terminal for ferries to, amongst others, Donsak on the mainland, from where one can bus, train or fly to many destinations in the country and the region.

We decided to go to Nathon on Saturday, rather than Sunday, as we remembered from two years ...

We awoke and left for sairee and after about an hour found our new place at the top of the hill. It was great! We took a taxi to Au Leuk and met the Americans! We went snorkelling a lot as was our last chance for a while and gg got to see a little reef shark! We then went for drinks and a delicious dinner after having booked our transport to Malaysia for tomorrow. We met up with gini Robert and dan and dans cousin the fighter pilot and spent the evening with ...

The night dive is quite intimidating at first, where we scan around us with our torch for fish but most importantly rocks and coral to avoid swimming into them! Besides the usual ...

... onward journey to Koh Tao takes another 2 hours so it's 20:30 when we dock at Mae Head, Koh Tao. Thankfully a very helpful taxi driver assure us he can take us to Sai Thong Resort by 'car'. (We had understood that you can only get to the resort by long tail boat, or by walking Jacks Path which, in the dark, with 2 heavy bags, would not have been ideal)
We check into our sea front beach hut and then go for ...
