Sedona Yangon (Rangoon)

... now privately owned .....our guidebook only lists these types of acommodation.........The book told us of the bus companies , boat companies , beer companies , sights and sttractions etc etc that were all government owned.............using this information ...........the vast majority of our money went straight into local hands...........some could not be avoided , a 12% tax on hotels for example .............but i found Myanmar was the one place where i was happy to pay the locals ...

... Restaurant. Tonight will be Burmese style. Actually I don't think I really like Yangon. I'll be happy to leave tomorrow. It's a safe city it's just quite dusty and even though there is a park near by to relax, it's just too busy. I will not be sad to leave Yangon. Dinner at Maw Shwe Li Restaurant, where I tried Hot and Sour Eel. And found that beer was only 500k (USD 0.5) for a handle.

In Yangon, waiting for the bus to take me to Chaungtha for a few days of relaxing by the beach. I have a few things which I need to do, change flight details and book my bus ticket, and so off I go to do my chores.
