Bangkok Airways flight 701 Depart 8:50 AM Arrive Yangon 9:40 AM 1 hour and 20 minutes flight time. 11 hours and 30 minutes ahead of EST Move clocks back 30 minutes. Categories range from best decorated to how high the balloon can be airlifted. To paint a better picture, think of this event as a big parade but instead of floats there are balloons which are being displayed in the air as opposed to on the street.

... with the plan to trek to Inle Lake. As it was our last night in Yangon we tried to go on a spontaneous night out, however it wasn’t to be, as you see most of Yangon closes at like 10pm apart from a few expat places but without the local knowledge we weren’t able to find any.

... thank god), got back to DMK at about 7pm and got dropped off at Tesco Lotus so I could have my favourite dinner, Fuji Sushi! Taxi driver asked how long I had been living there (I guess tourists don't ask to be dropped off at the hypermarket lol), told him I used to live there which is good because then they don't try and rip you off!
Super early night for me in the end, crashed at about 9:30 at night after a warm bath and slept for 8 hours... total bliss!
