    ... shrimp, squid, and fish, and I had deep fried sea bass. The deep fried sea bass was the best; I'd order that again for sure. I normally love yum moon sen (usually with just squid and shrimp), and this one was decent, but the fish that came with it sucked. The mussels were good though, which I don't usually like that much. And the crab might've been good, but each one was so small it was hard to get more than a few ...

    ... been a brilliant morning with the monkeys...

    In the afternoon we headed for another type of animal enclosure - heading for the prostitute filled road that is The Golden Mile in Ban Chang. We had a brief drink at friend/pimp Perry's Sports Bar before checking out the nearby beaches and heading back for base (via a clinic for Phil, where amusingly he was initially directed to the next door Vet's) at the end of what had been a fantastic day in the Land of Smiles...

    The Thai people are very self sufficient. The do not believe anyone needs much help. If they work hard they can succeed on their own. They are a very friendly people with huge sincere smiles.
