    Upon arrival on the island after about 2 hours of ferry ride, my family of 6 including me went up to our rooms and refreshed ourselves. Then, we went to a nearby stall to have some bihun, mee goreng and roti canai as our lunch. By that time, many people were already talking about the Tioman boat tragedy that happened about the same time we arrived on Tioman. We could see thick black smoke somewhere in the middle of the sea.
