    Today is the day! Jonathan, Keith, Charlie and I are heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Jonathan and I did some grocery shopping last night and all I have to say is we are set in the snack department. Dropping Baxter off at Pet Paradise this morning was, as usual, a little sad.     Very stormy day in Charleston, SC today (and for the last 3 days in a row); and forecasted to be stormy right through Wed. So making today a driving day!!!

    Charleston is affectionately known as "the low country", because the streets pretty much flood and close down whenever it rains an inch or more. Brilliant.

They were a hardworking family who used the swamp for food, the land for planting and the buildings to store their food and provisions.     ... house and the icing began to slide off. There was no way I could get the rest of the cupcakes attached to the other three faces of the cactus :(. So we used it the best we could. Candles lit, everybody joined in to sing Greg, HaPpY BiRtHdAy!!! And then Zoe sang it out loud in front of everyone by herself afterwards.
