... 10.30PM and i have to say that the Triton is an awesome truck for this journey. Met up with Kumar annae, dropped by at his house for a bit, had a quick bite at a nearby chinese restaurant and checked in at Zenith Hotel. One word to describe the hotel after a long and tiresome journey...Sheelan's favourite word: AWESOME!!! We got a deluxe king room on the Titanium (21st) floor and i said this is heaven darling. ...

... and Japanese must not have understood this as they were flashing their cameras and all had their torches on. We got so annoyed. The guide also said not to put the flash near the basket of baby turtles as it blinded them. People had their cameras stuck right into the baskets snapping away. GRR...

The mother was on the beach and had dug her nest but hadn't started laying her eggs yet. The guide told us to get into groups of ten. Of course, queuing was out of the question ...

We catch the bus the next day to Cherating and arrive in Kauntan with no problems and it seemed everyone in Kautan knew where we were heading and so helped us get on the right bus. An hour and a bit later, we were in Cherating. Grey left me at a café and he went off in search of a room with one of the local guys. ... the sun had set for some food, a local restaurant near our chalet was open and agreed it could cook anything veggie for Boff, we both ate a very hot curry with rice with cats curled at our feet looking up at us longingly.
