Seaside Travellers Inn Kota Kinabalu

Today we flew back to Kota Kinabalu from Sandakan. Apparently we should be been able to see the top of mount Kinabalu as we flew past, but either we were looking out of the wrong side of the plane or the top was covered in cloud. We stayed at the Seaside Travellers Inn which provided a nice setting in which to relax after our tour.

In Malaysia now... We spent four hours on a very comfortable and air-conditioned bus from the lovely Singapore to Malacca this morning and have had a wonderful time since we got here. The city is so cultually diverse and has everything you can imagine from South East Asia squished into a small city. Last evening with the group, flew back from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu. Met a drunk Hungarian guy on wir flight who decided he wid befriend wis. Last day of Sabah We decided to go to the Kinarut Panoramic Mansion after seeing a photo of the place at the museum. It sounded mysterious. Time to leave Malaysia and move to Thailand. People lately keep asking me "are you excited?", but I must say "no", I don't feel excited, just happy to be going to Thailand.
