... had loads of trendy women's clothes shops. Would be right up my alley if I wasn't having to budget and live off peanut butter sandwiches everyday!

Our next destination was Redondo Beach, where we were staying for a couple of nights. We found our motel, a couple of minutes walk from the pier, checked in then did a weeks worth of laundry. At the laundromat there was some random weird guy edging closer to us and mumbling rubbish, then ...

... fans just dont seem to hit everyone when there is 200 people waiting around for their flight. Eventually we found somewhere to eat, the food looked really expensive but I had 3 hungry kids so I give in and order a small peperoni pizza ( no mushrooms no olives) a side of chips and 4 cans of lemonade. ... were loads. For dinner we went to a gourmet sausage place, I had a duck and bacon sausage but was tempted to go for the rabbit and rattle snake one. I was disappointed in myself afterwards for not trying it. After having churros and hot chocolate for dessert, Alex took me home, it was lovely to see him again. Today I went on a tour of LA and Universal Studios. First we went to the end of Route 66 (it starts in Chicago) and to see Santa Monica pier. ...

Last stop: London; Mind the Gap
Barring any unexpected debacles in the South of France, I'll be spending the last five days of my trip in my favorite city, London. I've already made arrangements to stay at my home away from home: The Citadines South Kensington. I cannot wait to get off the Tube on Gloucester Road and go straight to Berry's for worcester crisps and then for a pint of Aspails at the Stanhope Arms. Perhaps The Jam Cupboard will be serving ...
