... wel gezien, na wat overleg zijn we naar de studio's van Warner Bros gereden. Hier waren we rond 1 uur en konden we gelukkig nog mee met de toer van kwart na 3. Er was hier een (bedrijfs)restaurant waar we konden lunchen en van de zon genieten. Na een wandeling door de straten in de buurt van WB zijn we dan uiteindelijk aan de tour begonnen. Soft Landing
... and Aiden (my grandson) arrived and there was a fabulous reunion and more wine in grand celebration. There is a theme here right?! after a short while we loaded my belongings into Todd's truck and drove to his apartment. We visited for just a very short while and then ended our day with a long night's sleep. Todd's place is right downtown and he worried the street noise would keep me awake. I can assure you it did not.

GAME CHANGER
... Joker" and he played it, over and over and over and over again in his motel room. I remember thinking, "man this guy really loves music." I guess that was my first intuitive feeling about him. To this day when I hear, "I really love your peaches wanna shake your tree" I think of that night in the motel room. Fast forward 20 years later we find ourselves in the same town, same neighborhood living 3-4 blocks away from each other, ...
San Diego. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth
... and the beach was just as nice as I'd been told so that did cheer me up! I just have to keep reminding myself that it could be worse...I could be at home! San Diego is a really lovely city, it's my favourite place so far and I'm really sad to leave...I sorta wish I could just stay here and work at the hostel which a lot of people do - stay for free in return for 4hrs cleaning in the morning. Anyway now it's on to San Francisco tomorrow which I have only heard good things ...
