... bus service a bit like our city circle tram, it takes us around to the main sights – there is three!! The outlets, a cathedral (which is not like your usual cathedral, this one is all glass and looks like an office building) and the third stop is the shops across the road from Disneyland. It runs from 10.30am until 6.00pm so covers a good part of the day. Plenty of people were using it from our hotel anyway.

Heading to Splash Mountain which Cilla was dreading as there was a 50 foot drop where our log boat shot down a steep canal before splashing into the river below. We got wet, and Cilla's look of fear from the on-ride photo tells the story. I was more worried about getting wet, but the stomach lurching drop was not that enjoyable.

... This was a blast as once again the 6 of us landed in the Lighting McQueen car. This ride was so cool. I'm pretty sure Gpa had memories of cruising his old cool cars up Steven's Pass. These rides were so real and detailed to the t.

Today we spent making the most of both parks California Adventure park and Disneyland. An early start to take advantage of an extra hours entry to the park did us no good as the early entry only applies to Disneyland and not the adventure park which we queued up in. I think most of the adventure park queue made the same mistake so that left us near the start of the line and one of the first through the gates. I let the boys run to the tower ...
