Arghh!

On thursday we went in to finish picking the orchard and woop woop my phone was found by kristy under a bush... Lucky she says cos she was about to mow the grass and would have found it that way if she hadnt spotted it while trimming the bush (no pun intended). We finished picking the mangos and were delighted we had picked the entire 10 ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia nickoz... of tour operators - Broome’s multi-culturalism now lies in the mix of tourists it draws and the vast numbers of twenty-something-year-old travellers who fill all the hospitality jobs in town.

After another coffee stop, we made our way to Cable Beach on the big blue town bus. We were just in time to watch the sun go down over the ocean - a fiery blaze that spread across the water and turned everyone on the beach into a deep purple silhouette.<br ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia rachelhwalsh... more upwards than low costing. There was a shop that had so many different shells and a wall of fish shapes brillant colours throughout this shop.
The town I found to be rather a clean tidy place not like some of what I have seen.
House pricing is around $600 thousand and up. I noticed alot of the houses have the corrogated iron roof look.
McDonalds is here to which made Ashleigh rather happy to see. We had breakfast there.<br ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia nickimja... tastes good too!). Some ant ramblers became caught amongst the bed sheets, which was extraordinarily BAD. Then the next day..... things got worse. We’d placed a small, ant infested rubbish bag In the back of the car (inside a plastic tub) to dispose of as we got closer to Broome (no bins where we were). Busy with swimming on Cable Beach, we forgot about its disposal requirements until ice cream time mid-afternoon ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia dustydownloadsAt last we are in the long awaited Broome! We are staying at the Broome Vacation Village, (After moving from a really bad one!). We went to a place called Pearl Luggers were we learnt all about Broome's Pearling . It was all very interesting and the old looked very old. You had to wear really heavy helmets and clothers. I had to put on all these wool clothes the diver had to put on. We also spent a day at the world famous Cable Beach. Cable Beach is famous from the ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia arnott... mine. Found a room in the only motel, scruffy but clean. I covered 650 kms today and driven for 8 hours.

The road continued through the usual flat featureless scrub for about 4 hours but then began to be broken up by rocky outcrops and finally the Hamersley Range came into view, in the distance, and it remained in the distance for kilometre after kilometre never seemingly getting any closer but at last I began to climb until I reached Tom Price which claims to be the highest ...

Broome, Western Australia, Australia omluke... Park which is not very well known compared to Uluru but it is so beautiful. I actually had difficulty picking pics for this blog cause I love the colours so much and the trees.. .these beautiful white gum trees over red earth...

I don't know if I have already written this down but I love white gum trees. They're soft on the outside (not too much but soft enough) but strong on the inside... and I think it's a fantastic way to be: I don't want to be too strong on the ...

Max decided to stay with Matt and the boys and we hadn't found Craig & Jill at that point. We assumed they were delayed with the van and so we drove back.

It turns out they were only a little delayed and when they arrived at the market they realised they needed cash. So they walked to the ATM first before wandering the markets aimlessly looking for ...
Broome, Western Australia, Australia millersofoz... Paul picked her up from the airport. I went for a Sunset Ride on the camel train, which was brilliant. It had been overcast & humid all day today & I didn't think we'd get much of a sunset; however just at the right time the clouds lifted & it was stunning. I got to sit up front on the lead camel, so had the best spot of the lot. Graham didn't want to go & Paul & Kay went for a drive up the beach in their bus. Heading up the Dampier Peninsula for a couple of days tomorrow.
