... and fifty-five years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, the Spanish established at St. Augustine this nation's first enduring settlement. The architectural legacy of the city's past is much younger, testimony to the impermanent quality of the earliest structures and to St. Augustine's troubled history. Only the venerable Castillo de San Marcos, completed in the late seventeenth century, survived destruction of the city by invading British forces in 1702. Vestiges of the ...

Jack and I had a good run to Jacksonville from Bozeman. Made it all the way to Lawrenceburg, TN the first day. We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. We missed Glenn being here with us and I am sooooo sorry he did not get to experience this course. He would have loved it. NOT...... I did get one of my lost balls back. Charles found it in the fat grass. I also found about 4 balls in that fat grass that people in front of us had lost ...

Well it was a eventful evening the night before. My fellow English girls had a little cockroach visitor that night which had everyone panicking. I then went for a shower that morning and moved my shower rail and a bit of fluff blew out which made me jump! Think I'm safe to say everyone was ready to go from Daytona. The sun decided to appear as we were leaving too which was annoying. It was on to St Augustine via the Kennedy space centre. Wasn't to be honest looking forward to it ...
