... it was playing the pungi which is a flute like instrument that the snake dances to. He told us the only snake that dances is the king cobra and if you stop playing it the snake can attack you and spit venin into your eyes. After the snake show I decided to get away from the kayos in Phuket and flee over to James Bond Island.

6/13/15 After spending two nights in Patong we decided it was time to move on. If you're looking to visit Thailand my advice is skip Patong! It's an overpriced, fully developed little beach town and it doesn't have much to offer besides parasailing and over priced food and souvenirs. Beach was okay not the best we have seen. Where we docked, the “pier” was a floating one and didn’t seem particularly stable and was certainly uneven in terms of the planks of wood used to construct the “floor” of the pier. We decided to go out for a early tea ... We had skipped lunch because we had left our hotel in Chiang Mai at 11am and hadn't arrived at our resort in Phuket until around 5pm. We found a nice cafe on the beachfront and watched the sun go down.

My bus got cancelled so i had to go earlier. The journey was comfortable on the overnight bus. Lots of space and i slept on and off. I got to the airport at 530am and my flight wasnt leaving until 3:45pm. I had the longest wait. So i people watched, had food, listened to music and messaged friends when i had wifi. The flight was smooth with great views and was only an hour. I got the airport bus to my accommodation yellow sun, showered grabbed food and had an early night. ...
