We left De Funiak Springs, Fl at 8:15 am. Drove on I-10 to I-295 and then I-95 to Palm Coast arriving home at 4:00 pm.

We had a great trip and look forward to seeing another part of our great country in a year or two.

    Good Hotel on the Beach

    from anonymous

The Hotel wasn't exactly the cleanest, but it was good for the money. It had a great outdoor pool and jacuzzi. My husband and I had a great time. It was located right on the beach. At first the room that was originally booked for us, wasn't cleaned, so they gave us another room, when we got up to the sixth floor, that room wasn't clean either, so we tracked back downstairs and they gave us another room. The bathroom left alot to be desired in cleanliness. But, overall, it really wasn't a bad hotel.

    The worst!!!!!

    from anonymous

Upon arrival to the hotel we checked in and got on the elevator which we noticed to have an expired permit showing. Once we got to our assigned room we were upset to find out that we did not have a compact refrigerator even though our confirmation email said we were supposed to . We went back to the front desk and they told us it was wrong but they would do us a FAVOR and upgrade us to a room with a full kitchen. We go to our new room and notice that the refrigerator is broken. You have to lift up the freezer handle to close the fridge. We then noticed that the tub was filthy. The walls did not connect to the floor. There was about a 2 inch gap between the two. The sprinklers were painted and the only smoke detector was located far from the kitchen. The bed sheets were dirty and when we finally got room service (after 2 days), the attendant made the bed with the same sheets. We finally checked out 2 days early and were put the the runaround to get the money for the 2 unused days back. I have pictures if you are interested in seeing the conditions of the room.

    Worst hotel ever!

    from anonymous

Stayed at this property 12 years ago and it was fabulous. Intended to stay for 10 days this time and could only stand two. The kitchenettes and walls were filthy. Got up our first morning and the door would not open. The desk clerk did not believe us, since we were on a high floor fire was a definite danger. A wonderful maintainance person finally showed up and took the lock completely out, the front desk did not want to even give us another room! Needless to say we left earlier than planned.

    I'll be back

    from anonymous

Enjoyed my stay here. the room had an excellent view of the ocean .

nice swimming pool and indoor pool. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and always asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay better. I'll be back next year

    Waited too late to renovate

    from anonymous

although the hotel was being renovated, it should have started years ago...I can't believe they let it get to that condition before trying to do something about it. Paint peeling off the doors, carpet in the hallway filthy, plaster from balcony above falling onto our balcony.

It's obvious at one time it was a very nice hotel, but unitl the renovation is complete, try somewhere else.

    Memories...

    from anonymous

Our last 2 summer Vacations we spent here, the first time they were doing thier make over, the scaffolds were right in front of our oceanfront view and the noise was all day, banging and banging, taught me to always ask if there would be construction on my next vacation, other wise we made the best of it. For the price you pay, you get an awesome place to stay. Were headed back for our 3rd year!!

Worst Hotel I ever stayed in

    from anonymous

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The wallpaper was coming off the wall, the smoke alarm beeped all night, there was no light bulb in the lamp and out of four days, our room was only cleaned twice. I told the clerk several times but frankly, she did not care (claimed there was nothing she could do because she was the only one working and she couldn't leave the front desk). When I called in the AM, they said they would look at it,but NEVER did.

    Gross.

    from anonymous

Terrible. The woman working the front desk both nights I stayed was a complete grouch. The rooms smelled of stale sex. The sheets were greasy. Our TV decided to short out.The view was nice though. The houskeeping woman I came across was very polite.

    I love it...

    from anonymous

Wow, what a great hotel. Five stars baby, right on the ocean front too, what more could you want, jacuzzi, pool, ocean view, nice beaches, moonlit walks...nothing better.Excellent service.

    Enjoyed our stay

    from anonymous

I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, it was great then and I understand they have remodelled since. It was very nice then and very clean. They had a kids program and the children loved it, and so did I.
