Miami Beach, Florida, United States nikey... interestingly enough the owner of the restaurant would not let the policemen pay. Anyway we sat down, Amy ordered a cuban sandwich and I got the grilled chicken topped with fried onions (we shared a side of sweet plantains). The food was excellent. Afterward we decided to have a driving tour of Miami, so we went to find Coral Gables. Got a little lost and ended up down a small discreet road. While turning around Amy tells me to stop the car so she ...
Miami, Florida, United States dc314... town. We got another 'to go' and spent the evening sorting out, throwing out and repacking ready for Mexico. I tried some blog work but 'Happy' was not and I couldn't get an Internet link. This was becoming a problem that I thought we had overcome in being able to update the blog in a timely fashion. This is currently being typed on 'Happy' in the Mexican hotel room and I will then see if I can transfer it to an Internet café whilst the saga plays out.
Miami, Florida, United States harryandnorah... Every room and every corner of this house was decorated witch expensive art, a lot imported from Europe. Important politicians have held meetings here; Queen Elisabeth and the Pope have been there as well. The thing that amazed me the most was a big boat built of stone outside the house - perfect for a rave party I think ;-) And that was the short version of nine great days in Miami, Flordia. From there the trip went from Fort Lauderdale Airport to New York City (via Atlanta).
