Long story short - we finally worked out the tag number of what was missing and she managed to absorb the fact that our luggage had got as far as Dallas and it had only gone astray on the last flight. Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America because it has a a network of canals and waterways. We took a boat trip to explore them and we saw lots of famous people's millionaire mansions. After a long 5 hour bus trip, I arrived to a warm welcome and delicious pork dinner with Sam, Devon, Les and Hal, before watching a movie and heading to bed.

... airline arena and an old building which was the Miami News Freedom Tower, alongside the metro mover tracks. We headed for Bicentennial Park / Museum Park which was huge and run along the river front / port. We crossed diagonally thru and up to the art museum with a beautiful outside seating area amongst lovely foliage, a peaceful place to sit and take in the expanse site of the park & port. We came out at the top end of Biscayne Boulevard just in time to jump on the ...

... We have found the wifi to be very slow and have been reluctant to use it too often. At least there are exercise areas. We have enjoyed walking around the top deck each day where there is a walking track and exercise machines. When we get to Copenhagen we understand there are 2500 Chinese boarding for the next cruise. Has been great spending our evenings with Les and Jan , they are off to London ...
