    ... and overhead door business. He was tiring of weather in Michigan and told his boss he wanted to check out Florida, so he took a vacation to see how he liked it. His boss tried to convince him he wouldn’t like it. On day five of his 11 day vacation, he sent a post card to his boss telling him he loved it in Florida. In fact, he bought a house while he was on that vacation. And, he got a job here.

    Good evening from New Smyrna Beach, on Florida's east coast. We got up this morning and our neighbor at the parking lot of TGI Friday’s, near Walmart, had his hood up. It was a Chevy dually pickup with a trailer that had a BMW motorcycle on the back of that. He had pulled in last night but we never saw the occupant(s).

    ... to the Rocket Garden and also the exhibit about the environment which was mainly about the former indigenous people and the environment.

    Actually much of the Kennedy Space Centre land is dedicated as a wildlife refuge hence the number of waterways, alligators, eagles and water birds etc. That in itself makes the area special but combining it with the Space program ?? Radical !

    ... rambling on but this was probably the best day of the trip so far and the rest of the USA has a lot to live up to. I am, as many of you know a complete sci-fi maxi-geek, but this was real. Humanity did it. We have done amazing things and we can be great again, we just need to stop kicking the **** out of each other. In the words of JFK :-
    We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

    ... what you feel mom in this kind of situation! ;)

    As you probably know, next week will be my last in Florida and Kirk told me that I will not work a lot because I want me to do a lot of activities before my return like kayaking, go to the beach, etc. I hope I will have the time to do all this activities!!
