... Georgios Castle but unfortunately it's closed! We then head back to Antisamos where we spend a couple of hours on the beach and in the sea, high, once agai is lovely and warm and crystal clear.
We arrive at the hotel and are given keys for the room next door to the one we had last week! We are still impressed with the hotel and the gorgeous view!
Tonight we will eat at Sunset ...

... drive along the seafront road and spot a few hotels. W decide to try the Tourist Hotel as its location is good. We agree to take a large sea view room at a very reasonable rate.
That evening we wander through the town and have dinner at the Casa Grecka where we find good food but a somewhat overbearing and rude female member of staff. So, we won't going there ...

... OK! Enough of the mama Mia wedding now.

So the long and the short of it is that Dyana & I only had one day to ourselves. Free from all the pomp and everything. So, as Frederick Forsythe the famous author ended one of his books with the phrase, ‘Let loose, the dogs of war,’ at last……. we were free to do what we normally do…… PARTY! And have a good time exploring. Yes!

After breakfast we decided to drive to Sami and enjoyed the beautiful mountainous countryside en route. Sami is obviously the yachtie spot in summer but pretty quiet now! Some up market properties and businesses. We did some shopping for picnic stuff, water and soft drinks.
