WELL WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE THIS PLACE. ABSOLUTE PARADISE. IT'S LIKE THE BEST BEACH IN THAILAND WITH NOT AS MANY TOURISTS. WENT TO THE REAM NATIONAL PARK AND ISLAND HOPPING. PARADISE. RESTAURANTS AND PUBS ON THE BEACH. SEA VIEW VILLA'S IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, RIGHT OFF SERENDIPITY BEACH. ANY-ONE WHO GOES TO CAMBODIA HAS TO COME HERE - THE HIDDEN PARADISE
Sihanoukville, Cambodia ashinwayI heard some funny things on my travels lately. Two English lads were speaking to my friend Becky. I wanted to go home so I kept trying to pull her away. One of them (42, bald under his baseball cap) tried to reassure me that his intentions with Becky were pure. "I don't even like sex. I'd rather watch a movie and eat a Mars bar." I'm like whatever. I don't believe that for a second. I turned to his friend (38, not bald) to see if he didn't like sex either. "No, I like sex," he said. . . . We...
Sihanoukville, Cambodia taostothailand... Locally Sourced, and absolutely huge. They also don't seem to get the idea of Happy Hour in Sihanoukville either as they have Happy Hour from 5pm till close at 12!!!

it was a really relaxing day and unfortunately i didn't really do anything, apart from reading my book and swimming in the sea, a much needed rest from yesterdays experiences.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia jonsalt... from your table watching you eat, ANNOYING!!! Everyone was offering Marijuana as well, no, I'm OK ta. One white guy, after offering us weed, we told him no, then told US to **** off.
All-in-all this place is lame, it's a huge disappointment and should be taken out of the lonely planet to stop thousands and thousands of travelers going there, or whatever.
The only thing to do here is get drunk...which is what we did :)
Sihanoukville, Khétt Kâmpôt, Cambodia danandkateWe took the bus up to Sihanoukville, which is a little beach town in Cambodia. Its nice being there in the rainy season, because the place was pretty empty and it never rained. We ate some amok (fish curry) and hit Ochetual beach, which was 20 ft from our room. Unfortunately, the hotel we stayed at throws crazy parties and the bumped music ...
Sihanoukville, Cambodia lkandmax... leave anyone's mouth in ever. Needless to say we ran in there and between four of us ordered and ate ALL the chicken they had left. Every last leg of it. And it was beautiful. The second thing of interest in Phnom Penh is the fact that you can go and shoot guns at the local military academy. Obviously not something everyone would want to do but a fascinating prospect certainly. You can shoot all the normal guns at firing ranges and for extra you can shoot a rocket launcher ...
Sihanoukville, Cambodia dantheeducator... we had very little idea of what she was talking about. She DEFINITELY gave me the eye though hahaha. We actually saw them the following day and they blanked us - quite lucky as we had no idea about their names!
Another night we were at another bar (Nap Bar) and played some Austrian guys and German girls at pool. One of the girls was called Eva and her friend I cannot recall, but she was going the next day and didn't stay long. She had a ridiculous pair of Elton John glasses ...
Shianoukville, Cambodia comedyad... who said she didn't go near Sihanoukville because of the level of prostitution in it... I had to bite my lip to stop the big squeak of laughter escaping! Unless she's been living in a bubble or is totally blind, Asia and prostitution are like bread and butter, Ben and Jerry's... it's everywhere. We took a long stroll up to the main city the next day, which wasn't very big, to get to the Vietnamese embassy. The tuk-tuk drivers ...
Sihanoukville, Cambodia niamh_keith... at. What was quite shocking was the poverty, my senses was bombarded from many different sources. From the airport to Sihanoukville it is one straight road, there are no traffic lights, stray cows roam the road freely, it seems no one owns the cows. My cab driver drove like a madman who was possessed, I have never seen such driving in my life. From what I observed there are no traffic regulations for road users, everyone is doing their own thing. Lorries just overtake each other with ...
Sihanoukville, Cambodia traveller64446... didn't know too much about Cambodia apart from a nodding acquaintance with the terrible story of the Khmer Rouge. When I began to delve into Cambodia's history in books purchased in Bangkok, I began to realise how recently it all took place and how, still, the terrible legacy of war has only in the last couple of years been allowed to start healing. Pol Pot may have died in 1998 but the mess he and his cronies left will not be forgotten for many generations to come. In fact, far from ...
