Breakfast at the hotel then walk to the new Acropolis Museum, free entry today. Great museum & beautiful exhibits. Back at the hotel we checkout and get a cab to Pireaus port €15, nice taxi driver helps us find our ferry in this huge port. We buy 2 tickets on Ventouris ferry €64 to Sifnos. Buy supplies, rolls, drinks etc for the 5¼ hour trip. Arrive Sifnos 7:15pm and book a room ...

... to dinner with Dave and Deborah, Paul and Deb. Paul had a place to eat in mind but we became a little lost getting there. Another amazing meal finished off with Greek yoghurt and fruit (so yummy).

We headed home for an early night. The others (young ones) from the bus went out to another restaurant and danced until 2:30. There was a massive fire works display at the Placka, we were told the next day.

... proper. Then I saw a landmark I recognized: the Panathenaic Stadium, which I knew from reading was close to Plaka. Excellent. I was at least close to my hotel. ... of people that come on the ship. Demetrios was telling us how he always had to dance with Asians because they get on the ship so early and sit up front. So we promised him we would dance on the way back to Athens. In fact we did, with all other Asians haha but it was fun and a good experience.





The trip was not my favorite as Athens is so dirty but the ocean was gorgeous and the people were GREAT, and the yogurt I will for sure miss!
