... but it was all very easy to find. We checked our bags in and then went into departures. The first thing that hit me was.....shopping! The other thing that hits you is it is sooooo hot! We bought our breakfast from Pret a Menger, a croissant and coffee, also some sandwiches and crisp for the flight. I just love people watching and we soon spotted the first beep beep,s and Sarah pointed out you always get a fat one and a tall one! We ...

Looking at Google maps (thank heaven for Google!) we found we were although not far from our destination but would not be able to walk so decided to take a taxi. £9.00 got us a really plush car with an Indian driver. ... way to spend Christmas Eve.

It was just after I arrived at Hillhead that another minor disaster struck. Treacle was feeling lively and wanting to play so I went into her 'toy locker' and found it full of water. Her toys were sopping wet and a cardboard box in which I keep her tennis balls had collapsed. I dried it all out and went to see if the garage was also flooded and it was. So the work done by the motorhome people had not ...

... catch-up of family news over good food.

Then drove on across Dartmoor again. Stopped to climb to a Tor on Burrator Moor before driving to Lee Moor and on to Ivybridge.

Stayed again with Jenny and Rhidian, whom we stayed with in February. Another lovely night in front of a roaring fire with good food and lots of chatting. Great to see them ...
