    ... to a dreary day, but eventually we drove to Stoneham to buy the tickets to see the play "Meet me in St Louis" at the Stoneham Theater. There were about 20 young people/students inside the door for the 'tryouts’ for the next play coming up. Was interesting to watch them practicing for the auditions.     ... to drive to Gloucester for lunch. Met 2 couples that went to school with Phil and talked a bit. He had fish chowder and I had clam chowder. Big bowls filled to the brim, and oh, soooo good.     ... here in 1951. It is all original plus lots of cute things from the past-hard to do with as little space as they have. Run by a gal, rarely there, and her brother Roberto, aka Junior, a great young kid. They have had it for 8 years. The cook, a Mexican, was fantastic.
