... Now we drive back home and decide on breakfast at Greatest where our friend Graetus is the owner. And it is closed and locked! Talked with the guy next door and he said it was shut down due to failed to pay something! Not a good morning for us. Over to Omelet and finally have our meal. They still remember us here-this was only place to go before Greatest. Back home to read the papers and 75% of the paper is dedicated to Menino. I am glad I had the chance to ...

Monday August 11th—Up early-like 6am!! A big breakfast and on the road by 7:22 am. It is 987 miles to James home in Costa Mesa. Only the last 9 miles were on a different hwy-State 55. was (unsurprisingly) nothing like I was expecting, no small, quiet and eerie village still living in ...

... you a Merry Christmas’ just for us and gave us hugs—an uplifting experience!! They were pleased to see they had made a difference in someone’s life! On to the theater-this is the one we has seen the other day and had the private tour. But we had not gone downstairs so did that today—This place is just fantastic. I would love to have an entire day in there just to explore and admire! Then Amanda, from Portugal, and her daughter sat by us and ...

... Friday-Up by 9 and down to GREATEST for our Friday breakfast. So good to see how many customers he has now-I think Graetus is going to make a go of this place! Summer is over—overcast and a light rain today. Not sure what we will do. Well, not much! We stayed home and downloaded a photo a guy wants that is doing a book signing for us. Looked at 3 of Phil’s scrapbooks from the police times and he did a bit on the computer. He had NO patience for ...
