... in Asia versus, say, a resort in the Caribbean or Mexico that cater to Americans. When you go to an all-inclusive near home, you are basically going to a self contained, 1st world resort that happens to sit in a developing country. When you visit a beautiful place here, you need to adapt to life a developing country.

The aim of today would be to relax! As we have a new washer technique we went for a morning run. With it being Saturday, we thought we'd risk the main road. It wasn't too scary, but plenty of traffic. It wasn't a particularly pleasant route, no real view, we just passed hotel entrances. There were plenty of hills so it was a sweaty affair. We managed 50 minutes.

... like the most natural location. We were glad we did.

  • Do not take the elephant trekking up to the waterfall. These elephants were very obviously abused.
  • Relax here.
  • Take a kayak out on the Gulf of Thailand. It's a great way to see the coastline and the aqua blue water.
