... was quite bizarre. Lunch was great and I had my first cocktail - yum! There are LOTS of dogs wandering around - the kids were very wary at first, but are getting a bit more comfortable with it. We had our first rain later in the evening - heavy and lasted for maybe ten minutes, the back to hot and humid. I love that you can walk around at 9pm at night in a singlet and shorts and still be hot. Sure beats the freezing winter back ...

Well, we got our rental car today. It is absolutely massive, but unfortunately only about a third of the space is meant for people. It's like a pick-up truck with a roof. There's a narrow bench without any legroom in the back for the kids. The car rental guy just laughed when I asked if there were any seat belts in the back. I'll get Anna to upload a picture of it.
