... are 125 service staff (waiters, sommeliers, etc). They are all trying to keep the 1,300 passengers happy and they succeed! An average week’s consumption will include over 18,000 eggs, 16,000 lbs of meat, poultry and seafood, 12,500 lbs of vegetables and 2,000+ bottles of wine and champagne. Quite the grocery shopping list! We are doing our best to eat and drink our fair share.
The weather has been right beaut this week in Qingdao and I've had a pretty busy week. I Climbed Fu Shan, one of the mountains around Qingdao, wandered through Zhongshan Park, flew a kite at May Fourth square and even had time to go on a three person bike. What do you call that? ... calligraphy at an auction. Some members of our team, Mr. Ong and Mr. Aman purchase a few artworks. After lunch we are going to visit the beer museum. We enjoy different beers until 4 pm and head back to the hotel for a short nap. After the dinner we go to the beer street to watch the crowd and do more beer testing. We finish 2 pitchers of beer among 3 of us, John, Jacob and me. We hang out in a bar until 11 pm.
