few places that we should not miss. We found a Wal-Mart and went in to
pick up a few things. As we walked through one of the isles we came across the wine
section. Well, wine here starts at $1.97 per bottle for most California wines and a 4L jug of Julio Gallo is only $8.99. We don't know how good these wines are but we can’t make it for that back in NS.

... br> We wanted to stop at a wine tasting vineyard so we picked Jeriko Winery. So glad that we did because we were the only ones there and got to sample a couple of nice wines. It was a beautiful place the the guy let us walk around the vineyard, go out where the grapes were and even sample the grapes on the vine. It was fun.

Tomorrow we drive back to Oakland for the night and fly out at 6:00am.

... 15 miles and then had to turn back eastward to get to our hotel. The only road back was 28 miles of more hairpin turns, not quite so bad, but bad enough. Elaine, you would not have liked this one bit!

By the time we got to the hotel in Ukiah, we decided to go to the pool and cool off. It's 96 degrees here.

... sei der Platz einfach in einen Urwald hineingesetzt worden, man parkt direkt neben riesigen Redwood-Baeumen, und auch der Weg hinunter zum Strand hat etwas total verwunschenes. Die Kueste ist in diesem Bereich wirklich sehr beeindruckend. Ich sass zwei Stunden am Strand, schaute auf's mehr und las in meinem in SF erstandenen Buch. (Martin Walsers "Brandung" :p )

... flipped my bike upside down and got to work. The grey haired man caught up just at the right time as I was looking for tape and secured the spring in place with a zip tie after checking I'd done the right thing and not accidently done any damage!
