    ... cannot describe the beauty of the flowers so we have provided a number of pictures to help you visualize what these flowers look like.

    We broke out of our seafood habit for this evening and went BBQ! Best place in Gualala. OK, so there are only 4 places to chose from.....,..

    ... of the osprey we saw fishing up and down the river from us. We also located a heron rookery where we had heard a great deal of noise as we left but could not see them from that direction.

    Back to camp where we fixed fish we had bought earlier in the day. The sky had cleared and so we went to the ocean and caught the sunset. It was very nice and then back for our regular campfire session.

    ... shopping bags and successfully raising them 500 feet below and several degrees latitude below their natural habitat. He raised a white birch for some time in the backyard. It was never as tall as the ones in Northern Wisconsin, but it lived for a long time. He also has transplanted firs. So I thought this redwood would be a fun challenge.
