      ... or worse than usual. We finished about 4 and drove to Fisherman's Wharf to see if we could locate the sea lions and check out the fishermen. The sun was shining and it was a great time to be out for a walk. This time we were successful in finding a whole raft full of sea lions. It seems the harbors put a raft out for them , sometimes close to shore and sometimes further out. This one was close and it was literally covered with sea lions. They were barking ...

      ... bought Evan some $10 sunglasses to replace his last cheap sunnies that broke in Disneyland and a beachttowel. Saw a seal/ sea lion/ otter while walking on the pier. It was exciting. The beach at Pismo Beach is nicer than Santa Barbara I think. The town is far smaller and less developed and it has a completely different feel about it.
