... river. Koblenz is a beautiful town on the confluence of the Mosel and Rhein rivers with both an old heart and new areas constructed after 85% of the town was destroyed in WW2. We are enjoying the space, fresh air and peace after the chaos of Amsterdam. Our apartment has bikes and a laundry and these have been well used. So lovely, delightful little terraced houses, the canals, the boats, the streets. another wonderful evening. Back to the hotel and early ...

... our ritual Nana and Poppy nap we went for a little walk and an explore we stopped on the way for a wine with Shaun from Melbourne. Wow the wine glass size is bigger than home, 200ml in comparison to 125ml. Reisling is the drink of choice here due to the vineyards being so close. This is not normally our choice, but it was definitely nice, smooth and nowhere near as sweet as home.

After our quick wine, back to the boat and get ready for port talk and happy hour. Too much ...
