      ... that beach rather than going miles to the black people's beach. The house was in a Caribbean plantation style. It was built in the 1920s. There were lots of animals on the walls and big wooden animals from carousels which are now worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. They originally had monkeys but now there are only three.       We docked early in Fort Lauderdale and as everyone was picking up their bags and heading home we picked up our transit passes and headed to the car hire place where we picked up our ride for the day - a Ford Mustang.
