I drove past marshes and beautiful homes and even got brief glimpses of the ocean before arriving at Fort WIlliams, which is a good size park that includes the Fort and the Lighthouse as well as some hiking trails and some fabulous views. - Should be a drive of about 2-3 hours but it takes us 8. In that drive it rains about 4-6 INCHES and at times is very hard to see but no problem cause we are stuck in long weekend traffic and are going 5kph on the hwy. Get to a campground that advertised on their website ...
