Our noon flight to Miami was two hours late. As we had left the hotel by 9:30 and arrived at Jose Marti International Airport by 10, we had plenty of time to clear immigration, customs and security, for long good-byes and promises to stay in touch and for shopping for last minute trinkets, coffee and chocolate.

... so good to have a spacious suite of two rooms. Huge hotel with an atrium which has a clear roof over it, all airconditioned as well. This hotel is located very close to the port which is good for our cruise. Breakfast included too. Buffet style or cooked to order in the lovely atrium. After checking into our room, we headed downstairs to have a drink and just unwind. We had one full day in Fort Lauderdale before the cruise. We didn't have anything specific planned ...

... it was a nice one this evening. Viewing space was more limited today, as a wedding party was taking up some of the normal space along the Westin waterfront, plus it was the weekend which probably brings in weekend trippers. After the sunset I went back to the hotel to have them print my boarding pass for my flight home the next day.
