Tues Sept 17--We had planned to spend the day at the beach but it was cloudy, windy, and cold. Rick drove us around the island to see some of the damage caused by Super Storm Sandy.

The route, which has changed more often than the mind of an indecisive teenagers has finally reached its set in stone status. All of the personal connections have be mapped out and contacted. They all understand that in just a few days some crazy kids from the other coast are loading up a car and headed straight for them. Clover most definitely knows that something is up.

One thing I have really noticed is that everyone is really helpful and polite. Sorry folks at home, but Aussies could really learn some manners from our American neighbours.
