Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Oh my goodness! What a night! 8 girls in 1 room coming and going at any time of the night. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

We decided to go onto an old Oil Gas Rig called Ocean Star which is now turned into a museum it only cost $16.00 for us both to go there. First though we were dropped off at the other side of the island at 11.20 am and we had an early light lunch at Joes Crab ...

... the launch towers. The are a lot of neat exhibits and stuff in glass cabinets, but as I said to another guy there " When I was a 10 years old I would have said Wow, but now that I'm older I would say Why did they do it that way" This is the "more meat" I wished for. But all in all, I'm glad I went and got to see the complex.

One warning, as you enter security there is a photograph area and everyone gets their picture taken. It feels like its ...
