We awoke this morning with the threat of a nasty storm - Iola - arriving here possibly this afternoon. We have had several good days so I have biked while Richard worked. Thankfully he is really trying to take Thursdays and Fridays off so yesterday we managed to play another round of golf, this time at Churchill Meadows - another new one for me and very interesting with ponds, birds and some lovely homes bordering the course in the Village ...

The final on line preparation was to set up reservations at the two specialty restaurants. We are early birds and it looks like we won't be alone - there was a very limited number of early seating times available. We are looking forward to the luxury of eating first class everyday. ... but sunny, blue skies. I feel so sorry for the children trick or treating at home where I am told it is rainy, or in Thunder Bay where it may be snowy. Heather sent the cutest picture of Lucky and Pongo (a.k.a. Emily and Michael) on Facebook.

Shopped Walmart after Richard finished his conference call and returned home to dinner on the lanai - steak and Caesar salad. Great temperatures!

... worst as the straps were not positioned correctly. Then we drove through torrential rain through all the toll booths without our SunPass as it is vehicle specific. It was well after 5 pm when we got home and then Richard had to return the van. But the Thunder Bay folks were thankful it was not snow and delighted in seeing the palm trees and flowers. It is a good job I had decided pizza would do the trick for dinner that night.
