When I planned this trip, this particular journey gave me all sorts of problems in finding anything, Civil War, Trail of Tears museums etc open on a Monday. They all seemed to be open Tues to Sat. So decided to just investigate Alabama and go cross country to Atllanta.

... at all the boats. I must say, this marina has its share of large boats and Chris Crafts. We felt very small beside those huge yachts.

After setting up my camp, I immediately charged this trail. It would again prove to be a great hike on a gorgeous day with sunny skies and a temperature that topped out in the low 80's. The five mile loop trail was moderately strenuous and ...

... other two original Star Wars movies on other legs of the trip. We stopped for dinner at a KFC in Chatanooga (what a great name for a city, right up there with to other towns we passed,Tuscaloosa, AL and Chunky, Mississippi) and expect to get to the campsite at the Cade's Cove area of the Park around 10 pm EDT. Probably no further updates until we get back on the road on Friday as I expect there will be little/no cell coverage in the ...
