Big traffic jams and high humidity

A travel blog entry by abagworth on Jul 07, 2015

A quick blog today. I will add to when I have more time. At this stage all I will say is that we are late in due to horrendous traffic on various interstates. It has been very hot and humid so need a drink and some food. I will catch up with you ...

The Favourite Part of This Trip

Visited the Main St Gallery but the right Folk Art wasn't there - some cute birds and a gourd turkey - but not quite right. Had a dynamite lunch in a new restaurant called Fortify and then headed south. Drove through the pour in rain and arrived at the KOA. Had "lovely" take-out from Wendy's and turned in early. Had ...

    Happy Third Birthday Michael!

... another trip where we saw icicles hanging from all the rock cuts like beards on older men. Of course by now we were also seeing the ever present kudzu vine that cloaks everything. And, all of a sudden it did not look like winter anymore.

Used a car wash at Exit 108 just prior to Knoxville to remove the garage dust and driving debris now that we had better weather. I even thought I may have seen the Richards (Gary and Peg) in an Applebees here as ...
