The locals say it's warm, but for a girl of the tropics I have my ever present cardigan on! Denton (or as it's promoted online - 'little d') is a university town; or I should say a 2 universities town about the same size as Townsville. The Court house is an imposing building in the central square and the small museum in it proudly shows off all that is Denton Texas, from Bonny and Clyde to ACME bricks! The exhibits in the main room are all explained in ...

From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. ... ll leave you with this, since this is a topic that I could write about for hours; peace is something that God promised us. If you are constantly at "war" and never at peace or enjoying your daily life of "Sabbath Rest," it's time for a reevaluation. Peace is your portion; not conflict, drama, and war. Revisit Romans chapter 12 and it'll put it all into perspective. _______________________________________ __ Romans 12:18-21 (Amplified Version) "If possible, as far as it depends on ...

Another great day taking in the sights of Dallas. There are lots of places to visit here but you really need a car to get around with a very informed driver. Simon and Christine are doing very well especially without a Navman. This morning we went to the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love air field. It is a historical aviation museum starting from the early dreamers - Leonardo; through the early flyers - the ...
