      ... The house faces the gulf and is surrounded by oak trees. The interior is furnished with mostly original pieces belonging to Davis and his family.       What a difference this morning - cold, windy and wet! We had intended to have a good look round the city but it's really not nice, looked at taking an open top bus tour but after the last experience in San Antonio decide to drive around ourselves.
