... and pampering by the super-friendly staff. Both of the pedicurists had been on this cruise before and had nothing but rave reviews.

After our toes were dealt with, it was lunch time so we schlepped our luggage over to Lone Star Tacos, just across the street. The breakfast taco and barbacoa beef taco were muy deliciosa.

... br> Lunch: Goode’s Barbecue for Texas style barbecue (brisket). Yum-yum! Brisket, cole slaw, Texas toast with jalapeņos, and beans. Jim had pinto beans with jalapeņos while Barbara had Austin style baked beans (beans, pork belly, pieces of brisket, red bell peppers, onions and apples-what a surprise). Both were delicious.

Next we thought we’d shop at the Galleria Mall. Big mistake! ...

... Control was rained out so we missed it.

We saw moon rocks, pictures of all the astronaut teams, space suits, rocket engines, etc. We watched 2 really good films. The first was about the history of the space program with lots of good film clips. The second was a new film about the future of space exploration. It was on the largest giant screen in Texas and was an excellent film about the future ...

... managed to nearly miss the boat (literally) that we we Island hopping on several times. I have a great photo of Yohai standing up on the bow of a Thai long boat, yes the ones with the really long prop shafts that they counterweight in and out of the surf. ... many friendships and been so welcomed in Houston and thank God for the opportunity to be here and have this experience.
Monday was the kids last homeschooling phys-ed day and they took the last of the Tim-Tams to share with the other kids. I believe they were very well received!! The kids gave them a card signed by everyone which was really sweet.
