He hit the road right after grabbing a bite and filling up the gas. We have about a 4 to 5 hour drive ahead of us and I'm determined to do it in less. I am amazed at how beautiful the state of New York is. I think you always think of the city and forget about the state. We came through Geneva and Seneca valley on the way to Watkins glen. ... should be there Wednesday night or we might wait til Thursday morning to go in. I did throw away my under wear - they just smell funky, and it is so hot out, I'd rather free-ball it for now. So the plan after leaving town will be to hike 10 miles out, then camp. Then hike the 25 miles or so into Delaware Water Gap Wednesday, or Thursday morning. Lots of wonderful moments with cousins and other relatives I haven't seen in several years. Those were topped with a nice ballgame day and a day in a water and amusement park and a day-trip to NYC. ... be around the corner. I ran out and bought a wine from Australia. I couldn't bring myself to buy a California wine on the east coast. I was quite the hero upon arriving with the vino!! Cheers and bottoms up, we polished that bottle off in no time and were alot more mellow. The jet lag kicked in and we begged off religious services and went back to the hotel and finished the carrot cake by the hotel fireplace.
