Bags are packed! Very early by our normal standards but then it is not every day that we set off to explore Argentina then set sail for the Antarctica. A rain, freezing rain, snow event has the potential to make our Tuesday departure from JFK interesting........

So excited to visit Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Hong Kong ... especially for the food! Even though Cathay Pacific changed us from a flight out of Newark to one out of JFK, we still couldn't wait to get on the plane -- 2 hours to JFK, 16 to Hong Kong, 3+ hr layover, then 4 more to Singapore. It seems completely unreal that I'll be boarding a plane in less than 24 hours to fly to the other side of the world. Lots of wonderful moments with cousins and other relatives I haven't seen in several years. Those were topped with a nice ballgame day and a day in a water and amusement park and a day-trip to NYC. Finally, a big family picnic on Sunday with great grilled food, burgers, cheeseburgers, dogs, marshmallows and s'mores... and off we were to Baltimore for some more quality family time and sightseeing. - I'll add ...

... We had a lovely dinner together and swamped stories about the effects of horseback riding on the our lady parts. It was actually very helpful knowing what can happen and what to do about it. Megan has been riding since she was a small child so it was fun to talk to her about the horsey world. Zach is also a horseman. Marty was very tolerant.

We had a lovely sleep and woke to a bright sunny day.
