        We left Grand Isle, Louisiana, and headed West to Lafayette. We had decided to spend two days there at a KOA campground, as there were several interesting places we wanted to visit.         particular night that we ventured out to Lulu’s was the Christmas parade of
        boats so the place was rockin, and the boats, about 40 of them were spectacular

        0730. Woke up & we all started packing & cleaning up. 0930. We all took off for McDonald's. Not sure why because they were planning to eat Kim Son buffet in Houston for lunch. 1000. We parted ways from everyone. Mando & I made plans to meet up with Jeb for lunch. 1300. Had lunch at Nit Noi. Jeb got to meet Mando & Ava. It was a nice lunch.         ... pork belly & kalbi for lunch. It was delicious! 1400. Went outside to sit & ended up chatting with Cô Beth. We went for a walk & talked for a while. She really needed someone to talk to.         ... time. Getting to spend time with the locals was awesome and being in the warm weather gave me good time to recover from this nasty flu. Before we left randy took us out for a Mexican breakfast at a really cool Mexican restaurant near nasa. The hardest part was leaving after making such great friends, but we know for sure that we will see them again!
