This stretch of Nevada is typical for this state- very few towns and not big towns at that. Fernley is atypical with a population of nearly 20,000 souls. Once an agricultural center the city advertises itself was the second friendliest site for warehouse distribution in the West. As if to prove the point Amazon.com has a huge warehouse there.

Total Miles 6,765 Got up a little early today and headed out. Lots of boring driving. We finally arrived at the Parks, Toquima Range & Toiyabe.
