With perfect weather(warmer than usual temperatures) the Piazza del Duomo is filled with people, kids, and pigeons fluttering by. Even with the piazza brimming with people, the Cathedral is center ...

        ... was "Hotel Bernina"
This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.

So we drove back ...

Checked out of room 7am, walked to the train station and caught the train to Rome at 7.42am. Lovely smooth ride on the train, hardly any passengers, first stop at Lausanne at 8.30 am. Terraced vineyards on one side of the train, Lake Geneva still on the other side of the tracks. Next stop Montrieux then Sion, still vineyards terraced up the hillsides, snow capped peaks in the background. Next stop Brig, train filling up now along the way. Next ...

Out to the football areas today and looking around the outskirts. I didn't realise that AC Milan was actually formed by a group of British, what a huge stadium (and what a mess outside). Seems good that both of the Milan teams can share the one stadium. Right next door to the horse racing and a golf course so I imagine a real centre for betting. There was a competition for graffiti artists to decorate the outside of ...
