Here we go again. We trust we are not boring people to tears. I am not sure if people realised I posted three blogs last night as finished the Amsterdam one off as well.
Today would be one to beat for sure and these were Les's words. A slightly more leisurely start to the day with a leaving time of 9am. And what a gorgeous day it has been too …

Outside we are surrounded by snow covered mountains on all sides. Les is lying on the bed almost too worn out to have a cuppa - now that says something!
After an ultra-hearty breakfast we started off on very quiet roads as in many parts of Europe it is a religious holiday of Corpus Christi. Our first stop was at Heidelberg, on the banks of the …

... and snow tubing. We had a great time doing both of these – no injuries again!! Although by now my shoes had soaked through and my feet were freezing cold! We went down a few times on each and even made a 4 toboggan chain. Thankfully there was a conveyor belt to take us back up to the top each time as we were all getting tired from walking in the snow.

We then headed back up the chair lift and into the shop area for lunch. We ...

... is incredible and really evokes emotion in a person who looks at it. It's very detailed and you actually feel sorry for the lion. We found some great gift shops which were filled with amazing Swiss clocks. Danny and I want one for the house! Some are so detailed and look amazing. The streets of lucerne are really lovely and there is left over snow on the sidewalks from a few days ago. There are mountains really close which feel very big and they look ...
