    Reminds me of the Willard in DC...the staff is exceptional and the food is great and the accommodations are perfect...great locale...

    ... then we had Cheese Fondant then bratwurst and potato salad. For the evening our group went to souvenir shop that had opened up for an hour just for us (everything else had been closed as it was a Sunday) and then relaxing in the outdoor area at the accommodation again.




    Fact of the Day: All the tunnels in Switzerland are designed so that missiles cannot be fired through them and set with explosives to seal off Switzerland if ever ...

    ... we have people in our program from both - rivals! IT WAS A GREAT GAME - GO PACK and we met people there from Wisconsin and all over the U.S. that now live in Switzerland. We took the train back to St. Gallen and got home about midnight for class on Monday.

    Skiing here was definitely the most hardest place I have skied, but it was a challenge and so fun!

    Needless to say, walking up the stairs to class today was much harder - we are pretty sore!

    Lunch was expensive. We bought a sandwich, a bagel, a salad and a quiche for over 40 Australian dollars! Ouch.

    The fog was a feature of the trip (you know it's been a quiet day when the fog is a feature) with thick fog covering the countryside in places. At times we had about 30 to 40 metres visibility.

    To wrap this up, I really enjoyed my Switzerland experience even though it's only 2 days. I would love to come back here someday but maybe seeing the other side of Swiss like Interlaken, Geneva and Basel. I don't mind the costs here. The people here are really friendly and nice. They have one of the best customer service. Even if you buy a magnet souvenir, they will wrap it up nicely for you. That's something you don't get in Asia.
